The Importance of Internships
During your college career, you should not only worry about your academic curriculum, but also about the value an internship can add to your future. Internships have become increasingly important in balancing out your collegiate career, and can give you the skills and experience needed to pad your resume when trying get hired upon graduation. Internships, along with volunteer experience, co-ops, shadowing, and service-learning are excellent ways to show off your skills and put professional experience to work for you as you make your transition into the real world outside of academia.
